Ultra Mini® miniature detail brushes were developed under the supervision of the artist. Short Comfort Grip® handles and compact ultra-fine heads are perfect for tight spaces and provide excellent control for tiny details or miniature paintings. These brushes have precise golden Taklon filaments that are inserted into seamless, nickel-plated brass ferrules and mounted on pearly white handles. Synthetic brushes are made of nylon (nylon fibers or Taklon (polyester fibers). The fibers are machine beveled, sanded, sharpened, etched or chemically treated in order to increase the ink absorption capacity and to make the brush softer. Taklon fibers are in the range from 0.08mm to 0.15mm for the imitation of hair and 0.2mm for the imitation of bristles. Application: Watercolor & acrylic, model making.
